DUTIES OF ELECTED OFFICERS OF THE BVCWRT
The Executive Board thought it might
be a good time to outline the duties of each of our Officers as we continue our
attempt to explain to our membership what is involved when volunteering for
these positions on the Executive Board. The explanations below are taken from
the Constitution of the Brandywine Valley Civil War Round Table with
modifications to some of the offices to bring them in line with what duties are
currently being handled. Other duties or responsibilities may evolve from time
to time such as, the VP running the monthly book raffle, but these are not
necessarily in the job descriptions, more a matter of choice by that person.

There you have it - the key to our
success as a Round Table. By dividing the responsibilities into various
committees and with a little mutual support we have managed to produce one of
the largest and most successful Civil War organizations in the area. However
without the support of our active and enthusiastic membership everything would
be more difficult and certainly not as much fun.
